I too want to thank the person who started this forum, because without this I would have never received the email that I did last night from Robert M. Crowl. I have been searching for the link to my fathers side of my family for a while now. Bob had the connection. My Grandfathers name was not Roy as we all thought, it is LeRoy Edward Crowl, born 7-18-1905 and he died 9-2-1955 in Blue Island,IL. I told my father, who is also Robert Lee Crowl, about the information that had come to me and he started remembering. Like the town Lacon, IL that LeRoy had moved to from Ohio. He said "oh ya, I do remember going there as a very young boy". I was so happy, I was dancing around in the room. You Bob have made one amature genealogist very happy. I am so hoping Bob that you read my email or this message, because I would like to know how I can get a copy of this Book of Crowl's? The internet is a wonderful tool!
