I can confirm that Margaret "Peggy" Crowel (Crowl), the daughter of John Crowel (1758 to 1845-1850, of Fredrick, Md.), married John Snider in Franklin Co. Va. but have no information on any children. Have you checked for census information from 1810?

John Crowel was the third son of Henry and Margaret Crowel (Peggy's grandmother). Born April 20, 1758 in Frederick Co., Md., John married Susan Dugar (or Dagur) on Sept. 15, 1792. They were the parents of six children, and are buried in Franklin Co. Virginia on land known as Crowel's Gap.
