I am an Ohio Crowl/Crowell. If your ancestors came from Columbiana Co. and surrounding counties you probably descend from Johan Michael Grauel who came to America in 1733. If your ancestors come from the southwestern and western counties of Ohio you likely descend from Johan Michael Grauel who came to America in 1736.
