The following is from my Aunt Sabra-Jo's book (with the caveat that her information contained some errors, as stated by others in this forum): "William A. Crowl, who is called Will, has been married twice. The first marriage produced two children, the second, four. He moved to Kentucky about 1952 and is still there in Louisville (1990) with his second wife of 36 years." William A Crowl was born Nov. 20, 1921 in Waynesburg, Carroll County Ohio. His brother Emmet W. Crowl was born Nov.2, 1920. their mother Catherine Marie Still was born in 1902 and died at age 19 due to childbirth. William's father is listed as JOHN Andrew Crowl (b. Oct. 25, 1892) in Oneida, Ohio. He was called "Jack" and was the first child of Elmer and Ethel Adams Crowl. Elmer Ellsworth Crowl was the son of Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Haines Crowl, who are the grandparents of my grandfather Harold M. Crowl. It seems that the information is somewhat consistent with your connection; perhaps you or someone else can provide additional information to confirm (or correct) ?? If confirmed, the connection back from Andrew is well documented, and I have additional details on Elmer and his family(ies). I also have some additional info on John Andrew, including his military service during World War I. Notify Administrator about this message?
