Hi Edward,

I think I know who your Van Crowell is, but right now am not able to tell you more about him, as I am on vacation for right now and don't know when I will be back home to check my Crowell stuff. I am sure he is the Van Crowell who descend from Simon Crowell of Union Co., NC - Simon was a son of Peter Crowell of 1763 Mecklenburg Co., NC willl - I am descended from Simon's brother William who died in Bedford Co., TN in 1822. At least you have my name and email address so do write to me when you can!
