Jabez Howes CROWELL, b.1-5-1826, Dennis, Barnstable Co., MA; d. 1919, probably in Los Angeles, CA. He married Rebecca A. HOLWAY of Sandwich 5-23-1847. Their children:

Eben Crowell, b. 9-15-1851 (son Irving Potter Crowell and daughter Martha Crowell)

Alvah Russell Crowell, b.1-2-1862 (sons Russell and Ramon)

Josiah Irving Crowell, b.3-8-1857, married first Grace Franklyn Brown on 1-29-1877 and second Annie Lydia Dean on 9-28-1881. He relocated to Los Angeles c. 1890 and developed mining claims in California and Nevada. (His son Jay Irving Crowell was my grand-father.)

I would like to hear from any fellow descendants or from anyone researching this line--I would be happy to share info.
