Marilyn, I looked through the lists I have of descendants of John Crowe of Yarmouth, Mass., and for Yelverton Crowell, his likely son - but did not see a Hiram listed born 1806. (There was one born 1804, son of Timothy in Yelverton's line, but none of the family names were similar.) These lists don't cover the many families who moved off Cape Cod.

Do you know the area of New Hampshire in which your Hiram Crowell was born?
