Dear Marylin Johnson:

I own a copy of the seven volume set entitled, First Settlers of Piscataway and Woodbridge, New Jersey, by Ora Monette. Unfortunately, I did not find anything in there about your John Crowell and Sarah, or William Crowell and Phebe Crane. I did find the following:

"John Crowell died April 1790, at the age of 45; [Sarah, widow of John, died 9 May 1787, Morristown, New Jersey, at the age of 37."

Page 52, The History Of The First Presbyterian Church, Morristown, New Jersey, Part II, From 1742 to 1885.

I am very much interested in all of the Crowells of New Jersey. I descended from Sarah Crowell (and Abraham Shotwell Buswell), Benjamin Crowell (and Mary Bond), Seth Crowell (and Sarah _____), Yelverton Crowell (and Hannah Adams), and Edward Crowell (and Mary Lathrop), Yelverton Crowell (and Elizabeth Hammond), and John Crowell (and Elishua Yelverton).

If I ever find anything else of interest to you, I will contact you--if you will give me your e-mail address. Best wishes. ralphboswell@hotmail.com.
