Thanks so much for the Matthews information - do you have a source(s) for that info? I have all of the Sears genealogy - just got most of the Crowell, Macy, Bunker and Gorham blanks filled - God Bless Google Books (that's where I found the Crowell items you mentioned) and all of the town records that have been extracted and published!!
I have found assorted information about the Matthews families, but nothing coherent, so this is helpful. Almost all of my Crowell connections - and there are a lot - stem from John Crow - and until this one, none other seem to come from the Yelverton side. Frankly, I was hoping to be able to ignore it (;-) but I'll probably end up filling that in.
