I am hoping I can help a lot of Edward Crowell/Mary Lathrop researchers correct their records.
While searching for new information in books,libraries, courthouses and on the web I find a lot of inaccurate information concerning the place of birth for the children of Edward Crowell and Mary Lathrop.
Their children were not born in Woodbridge, NJ.
They were born in Barnstable Ma., the marriage of Edward and Mary is recorded along with the birth and death dates of their children.
Edward Crowell son of Edward and Mary was born in Barnstable, Ma. and he is listed along with the other children.
Another error is Edward Crowell m. Mary Lathrop's father.
His father is Yelverton Crowell and he is listed in the will. Edward named one of his sons after his father Yelverton. Yelverton Crowe's father was John Crowe all of Yarmouth. Wills and records are there as documented proof.
