With the help of Robin, and several others, it has been decided that the brothers Ed,Sr(III) and John, Sr. of Edgecombe Parish, both of Halifax Co., NC. Were descendants of Ed,Jr(II)and Sarah CROWELL, of NJ, and thus descendants of John and Yelverton CROWE\CROWELL. Robin, and I are still researching, and finding more information. To verify this info is time consuming when going to the NC Archives. We have have found another person in Nash Co., that like John in Halifax Co., was either missed the names misspelled, they do not appear in the 1790 census. Determining the names of the children for these two head of household, will require searching for wills and hoping they listed their children.
David
