Hi, Marge,

Since your Crowells were in the area around Falmouth, I would certainly guess they are descendants of immigrant John Crowe(ll) and Yelverton Crowell, early settlers of Cape Cod around 1639. However, I looked through Levi Crowell's "John Crowe & His Descendants" (1903) and through "The Crowell Family of Yarmouth, Descendants of Yelverton" (Cape Cod Librayr #71) without any success. The name is a popular one in the family, but none seem to fit your time frame.

Do you know the names of the children of Simeon & Jerusha? I wonder if that might provide a clue?
