Greg, have you contacted the Cape Sable Historical Society? I saw an earlier post that listed the address as 2402 Hwy #3, Barrington, Shelburne Co., NS B0W 1E0, tel: 902/637-2185. There are a number of Crowell families who emigrated up to Nova Scotia, in Yarmouth, Barrington, and other areas, from the Crowell families on Cape Cod. These descend from immigrant John Crow(ell) & wife Elishua ____ who came from Norfolk, England, settling Yarmouth, MA, 1639. It may well be that your Elizabeth Crowell is connected to those families.
