My Charles D. Crowell was born abt. 1810 in NC. Married Bethena Grant 2 Apr 1835 in Henry Co. GA. They lived in GA where the first 5 children were born then moved to Tallapoosa Co. AL between 1846 and 1850 there they had a 6th child. My ancestor. Emilie Hester Crowell. I don't think my Charles is your Charles. I just came into some info on this family from a wonderful lady. Please contact Judith Wakeman at dwakeman@aol.com She has been doing Crowell geneology for years and can probably help you.
