The oldest name I have to date in my file on the CROWELL side is BENJAMIN CROWELL who married ELIZABETH MOORE. Their daughter MARY ANN CROWELL married JOHN EVANS TUDOR and had a son GEORGE W. TUDOR who married MARY D. ARCHER and had a son ANDREW EMERSON TUDOR who married CAROLINE BRANTLEY and had a daughter FLORENCE TUDOR who is my great-grandmother. You mention MARY VIRTUE TUDOR...that name is in my file although without having it right in front of me I am unable to tell you an exact connection but am willing to share all I have.
