I'm going to answer my own query here, in case it might help out someone else. I have confirmed that Israel Smith Crowell was born December 26, 1859 in Barrington, Shelburn, Nova Scotia. His parents were William Myrick Crowell and Sophia Nickerson. Israel married Wilhemina (Mina) Mull in Lynn, Massachusetts on May 26, 1885. Circa 1889, they moved to Minotola, NJ (in South Jersey, Buena, which is near Vineland). Mina Mull's family lived in this area. Israel Smith Crowell died in Minotola, Atlantic County, NJ and is buried along with Mina and others in the Friendship Church Cemetary in Buena, NJ.
