I can go no further back than my great grandfather, Samuel Crowell (maybe Samuel Murry Crowell) born in 1837 (this is on his gravestone). He married Mary Snider Hetzel on November 03, 1859. Their first child was George Hetzel Crowell in September 1860. Then Eugene Crowell, born October 24, 1862 in Millbrook, Pahaquarry Township, Warren County, New Jersey (my grandfather). Then another son, Samuel Crowell born December 17, 1864 and then a daughter named Edith born in July 1870. George and Edith never married. Federal census of 1870 lists Sam M. Crowell as a carpenter living with his family in Columbia, Blairstown Township, Warren County, NJ. Sometime between 1870 and 1900 they all moved to Colorado. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
