Hi Ruth,

Thanks for the info but I guess that one of us has incorrect information on the parents of Thomas Lee Crowell. My information comes from my grandmother's (Clara Crowell Empsall) DAR application from 1931. She had Thomas Lee Crowell as the son of Beverly Randolph Crowell. Christopher Marsh was the Revolutionary War veteran that she traced her bloodline back to. I do not know how closely the DAR checks the statements made to them.

My sources are this application as well as 3 handwritted sheets from many years ago. I would be happy to share these with you. I'm not sure how well these sheets will scan so perhaps you could give me address and I would be happy to mail them.
