My ancestor John Crowell Jr. was born on
8 Mar 1799 somewhere in North Carolina. According
to your profile, John is near the age of Churchwell,
and is a "junior". Churchwell's father was also John Crowell.
Of course this doesn't prove anything, but the dates
and names are a loose match.

Do you know any of Churchwell's siblings? Was there
a John? I have a profile of my John Crowell earlier
in this forum--for your information.
