My greatgrandmother Martha Crowell was born in the 1860s to a free Black named Andrew Crowell and his Cherokee wife Rachel. All of this took place in and around Gold Hill, North Carolina, which is part of Rowan County, N.C. Anyway, I am searching for anyone else who are related to this family and possibly whose own roots may be a part of the area in and around Rowan County, N.C. Other names are JV Crowell, Evie Crowell Culbertson, William Andrew Crowell. Joe Evans
