Do you have any reference to a Sterling or Starling Crowder, born ca 1759 in Virginia. He was a veteran of the Revolutionary War, having enlisted in Virginia, and served three years I believe. By 1790 or so he was in Fayette county, Kentucky. He married Martha Stovall, also of Virginia, daughter of Bartholomew Stovall. Sterling died 1834 in Jessamine county, KY. Any help would be appreciated as to parentage. I believe he was in Halifax county, VA but am not sure.
