Jo, Thank you for your response. Bartholomew (and Ruth, his wife) was s/o Bartholomew, Jr., who was s/o Bartholomew, Sr. It was Valentine Moore's granddau. Letitia Moore, b 1833, Moore Co., NC who married Henry Clay Crowder, s/o William Crowder, who was s/o Bartholomew and Ruth. Letitia Moore was the dau. of Valentine Moore, Jr. Valentine Moore, Sr., is thought to have been the son of William and Ann Moore of Montgomery Co., NC. e-mail me at joycehousereeve@webtv.net - I may be able to help with the Crowder family.
