Trying to find parents of Andrew? Nelson Crowder, born Tenn or the Carolinas. Enlisted War of 1812 in Winchester, Tenn.. Early records state he was bound out to a Shields family when 6 yrs old as both parents were deceased. He came to Missouri (probably with his wifes family (COGDILL) when he got out of the service.
