Richard Crowder was refered to by my Grandmother as a cousin.
I went with my Grandmother to Pottsville, TX (near
Hamilton) and visited with her Crowder relatives. I took some notes but
in the late 1950's was not that interested in family history.
My notes are not clear but it seems that the children of Ellen Crowder
Wells are: Ella Bryan,Eula Wells Fincher, Liela Wells McMurry,Mary Wells Gerald.
Then I have R. A. Crowder is Uncle Richards son.
I believe that my ancester Virginia Lee Forrest
Crowder that married Robert Edmond Lowrie in Rusk Co., TX
Nov 16, 1884 is a sister to Ellen Crowder Wells.
