I wish I did think I was descended from Jeremiah, Jr., but since Wm. Milton was his only son, and his line is pretty well documented, I don't think that's the case. My interest in Jeremiah, Jr. stems from the fact that I think he was in Guilford Co. NC when my gggrandfather, Anderson Crowder, was born there in 1834. Also, he had a brother whose name was Anderson that I haven't been able to trace at all, but who may be my Anderson's father. And finally, Jeremiah, Jr. seemed to have ties to the Simpson family in Guilford Co. In 1850 my gggrandfather was living with Nathaniel Simpson in KY and married Nathaniel's niece in 1855. Nathaniel was from Guilford Co., and was the son of Nathaniel Simpson, Sr. who died there in 1830. Jeremiah, Jr. witnessed his will. If you run across any info about Jeremiah or his family that you think I might be able to use, or if I have can be of any help to you, please e-mail me at fromholdfam@home.com.
