Thanks for offering the maiden name of Jacob and Keziah's mother. Hadn't searched to amount to anything on this line, and haven't looked at it in some time, but Keziah was the wife of Jonathon Lankford/Langford and they in turn were the parents of Caroline Lankford, who married Thomas Sturdivant in Marion Virginia in 1850. Caroline is incorrectly indexed in the Smyth county marriage indexes as Sankford, as is her brother in his indexing. I showed it to the clerk , who brought out the original record, and because Sturdivant was spelled with an S which of course looked different from the L in the actual record, she acknowledged the error. (Jonathon and Keziah gave their permission for the mge of the two.) Only mention this in the event you have gone down on Keziah, and looked no further than the indexes to the mges. Caroline Lankford and Thomas Sturdivant were the parents of 15 children, and a small community in Texas, near Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto County, was named in honor of them. The Historical Marker telling of their move into Texas stands in front of the well kept and still used Sturdivant Cemetery there. Nancy Jane, a daughter of the two was the mother of my grandfather and was born in Marion, Virginia in 1852. She married William Nutter Osborne, they bore Claude Edward Osborne in 1891, (The last of several children), Claude and Mary Ann Harris Osborne bore my mother, Kathryn. Kathy Tindle
