Looking for any information to add to the following details as Newton Crowder is my Grandfather and I have photos of early family group. Joesph P. Crowder and his sons Newton, Quarles, Curtes, Fletcher and Joesph immigrated in 1891/1893 from Grape Grove Township, Ray County Missouri, U.S.A. to Naniamo, River Bridge, B.C. Canada. Older son Edward and wife Fanny with daughter Pearl and son Carl came later. Newton (son) went on to the Klondike in Oct 7.1899. Around 1990 all finally either settled in Grantham’s Landing or later in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Sister’s Bittie and Ollie remained in Missouri (Unknown History).
