My gg-grandparent's were BENJAMIN JOHNSON THURMOND, born in VIRGINIA, married 10 June 1847 in MAURY CO., TENN. by Thomas Hudspeth, MG. to MARTHA FRANCES CROWDER, born TENN. They had 8 children. One of these was my g-grandfather, WILLIAM ANDERSON THURMOND. I have always wondered where the ANDERSON came from. Any connections ?
