per info i have found:
Alexander Pool married Angelina CROWDER 11-Oct-1790. Marriage bond 11-Oct-1790, surety by Thomas NORMENT.
can anyone on the crowder forum tell me who was the father of angelina crowder and what happened to alexander pool/ angelina crowder?
how was her father related to this abraham crowder involved with my william harris, sr/ frances goode, per the following lunenburg co, va deed and, as indicated also, per the following mecklenburg co, va deed, both abraham crowder, sr and jr were involved with james harris, who is indicated to have been the son of william harris/ judith hudson.
lunenburg co, va deed book 6, page 528, 1761, william harris of lunenburg to john smith of amelia co, va for 200 pds, 400 acres on both sides of the middle fork of the bluestone creek and bounded by new lines. signed: william harriss. witnesses: abram crowder, peter hamlin, his mark, benjamin ragsdale. frances, wife of william harris, relinquished her right of dower.
mecklenburg co, va deed book 6, page 462, 1784, mark moore of mecklenburg co, va to thomas spain of dinwiddie co, va for 500 pds, 220 acres in mecklenburg co, va bounded by the lower side of woodpecker creek joining hasting; thomas wilborne; jeremiah lamkin; wade; coleman; jefferies and the said lucas. signed: mark moore. witnesses: thomas berry;
abram crowder; james harris; abram crowder (sic), jr (?).
as indicated, an alexander pool was also one of the witnesses to william harris/ judith hudson's 1778/ 1779 mecklenburg co, va will and mark moore was one of the executors.
