I am looking for information about the parents of my gggg grandmother, Martha Amanda CROWDER. She was born 15 Jan 1785 nr Petersburg, VA and died 15 Jan 1843 in Clark Co, IL. She married Lewis Walker 06 Aug 1806 in Hardin Co, KY. My information says her parents were Philip CROWDER and Susan PARISH. I have a copy of the text of testimony of a Philip CROWDER of Sangamon Co, IL found at National Archives, San Bruno, CA attesting to his service in the Rev. War. In the testimony, he states that he lived in the county of Macklinburg, VA until moving to Westherford Co, NC in 1785. I need to figure out if that Philip is the Philip I'm looking for. Any information would be helpful.
