The s/o Bartholomew #1 and Elizabeth Crowder born August 23 1723 has never been researched. I have found evidence of him living in Dinwiddie, Mecklenburg and NC from 1778 to 1800. I know he had a son Hezekiah and a son William Jr.. He was on the Census and Tax records. He bought and sold property in Mecklenburg County 1768 and 1778.
He may have had a wife Mildredge in Lunenburg County in the 1760's. If anyone has records confirming this please post.
He had been re-placed by William Crowder c1730 who went to NY in 1746. This was done by an assumption and the copying of research not confirmed. Please note from this researcher they are two seperate people.
There were many Crowders who came to this Country from 1668 to 1700. I find many, many, many Crowders both male and female on documented records of that time to confirm this statement. I have posted on line and on the event list, my work is not copied from any person on the internet or otherwise.
My reason for documenting all Crowders in Virginia is to confirm my fathers family story that 5 brothers came from England and they are our direct ancestors. To find those lines I must search all lines.
I was in hopes all Crowders who connect in Virginia before 1840 would work with me to know their family history.
