Hi, Benita. I don't know if this information will help, but according to the 1810 NC census there were 3 Crowder families in Rockingham Co, the families of Isaac, Pleasant, and John. Isaac had 1 son under 10 yrs. and Pleasant and John both had 2. By 1820, Pleasant was the only one of the 3 still in Rockingham Co. He had a son 16-25 yrs. I would be interested in sharing info with you since I have run into a dead end with my g-g-grandfather's family. He was born in Guilford Co in 1834 so I'm looking for families that were in the area during that time. I suspect that 1 of the Crowders in Rockingham Co in 1810 was probably his grandfather.
