Yes, thank you, it does help. If Grace Crowder couldn't locate a marriage for Fanny Wilson Crowder, my theory is still in the "ball park". I have looked at all the counties surrounding Guilford re marriage records. Can't find one for Fanny or Frances Crowder, or for Asa Bradley, either. He was born in Orange Co ca1768 - area now Randolph Co. There is the possibility that Frances Crowder and Asa Bradley were married in SC, but I can't find a record there, either. Joseph B. Bradley that I've felt was their first child, was born c1794 NC. The 2nd child (or she could have been the fist) Winny, b 1798 in Pendleton Dist SC. Joseph may not have been their son -- no proof one way or the other. If Martha Crowder in 1798 Pendleton Dist. was Jeremiah's widow, she was probably there with other family members. If she was ever on a census there, I've not found her, and the 1798 deed was the only time I've found her in SC.
