In 1857 Overstreet left Georgia and migrated to Texas. He is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Comanche, Tx. Overstreet was a doctor. There was once a town named Crowdervolle. Evidence remains near the Glass Bridge crossing the Chattahoochee River in Troup County Ga. where Overstreet married Rachel.
