I also found this will of Jeremiah Crowder on rootsweb. In addition, I have also found that this family has descended from Henry Crowder (Aft. 1619 in Charles City Co, VA and died September 1689 in Charles City Co., VA.) according to a registerd family report of the descendants of Henry Crowder.

[Henry, Bartholomew, Bartholomew C., Bartholomew, Jeremiah, *Anderson]

The family register report states:

"Jeremiah Crowder (Bartholomew, Bartholomew C., Bartholomew, Henry, Hugh) was born abt 1760 and died in Guilford Co., NC. He married Martha.

Notes for Jeremiah Crowder
Will dated 01/28/1795

Children of Jeremiah Crowder and Martha are:
*i. Anderson Crowder
ii. Elizabeth Crowder
iii. Fanny Wilson Crowder
iv. Isaac Crowder
v. Jeremiah Crowder
vi. John Crowder
vii. Patsy Crowder, m. William Satterwhite, April 06, 1764,
Halifax Co., VA
Viii.Pleasant Crowder
ix. Sary Crowder
x. William Crowder

Jeremiah was born from a Bartholomew Crowder. It states:

"This Bartholomew used "Batt" as his name on most of his documents and he signed using "BC" initials as his marks.
"Batt" was a Revolutionary War Patriot. He has been used for the Daughters of the American Revolution. For those interested in this, you may check out "Revolutionary War Records, Mecklenburg County, VA" by Katherine B Elliot, pages 47 and 48 in your state genealogical library. This book lists the patriots and soldiers. There is also a book entitled "The Reason for the Tears" by Lindsey that tells about this Bartholomew Crowder's patriot service.
Bartholomew and Ruth moved to Franklin Co., NC from Mecklenburg Co., VA before 1788. His estate was settled in 1792.

Children of Bartholomew Crowder and Ruth are:
i. Isaac Crowder b. 1769
ii Bartholemew Crowder b. Abt. 1760; d. Lunenburg Co., VA
iii. Absolem Crowder, b. Abt. 1760
*iv. Jeremiah Crowder, b. Abt. 1760; d. Guilford Co., NC.
v. William Crowder, b. 1758, Dinwiddie Co, VA; d. 1830,
Montgomery Co, NC
vi. Richard Crowder, b. Abt. 1760
vii. Elizabeth Crowder, b. Abt. 1760; m. William Parker.
viii. Nancy Crowder, b. Abt. 1765; m. Jesse Williamson.
