I am looking for information about my biological, paternal grandfather Thomas Spencer Crowder. I didn't get a chance to ask my grandmother much about him before she died, and he passed away about 18 mos. before I was born. All I know is that he was born in Oklahoma, but had to leave home because his family couldn't afford to feed him on account of the depression. He was in World War II, landed at Normandy beach where he was wounded by shrapnel, came home and fathered my father and his two sisters. He died in 1968 in a V.A. hospital in Iowa. I really need to find out more about my genealogy on his side so that I can pass it on to my son, who is named after him. Please send any info. to mrcrowder@hotmail.com
