I have done extensive research into the Crouter Family tree, and have also connected William born c. 1730 and Anthony b. 1732 as brothers. I have never connceted Anthony to any parents however, and would be very interested in any other information you have about Bartholamew and Elizabeth Crowder. Anthony first changed the spelling of his surname to Krauter, and then finally it became Crouter. I have also found a listing for William Creuter baptising a daughter Elizabeth at the Ramapo Dutch Reformed Church, NY, on March 18, 1764. This was where Anthony and his family were settled. Anthony also had a son named John, but no William. The name Bartholomew never apprears in any Crouter descendants that I have. Do you have any other Crowder families born about the same time as Bartholomew? Anthony's sons were John, Peter, Jacob, James, Edward, Anthony and Stephen. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
