A woman that my mother (Linda Crowder Willis) corresponds with just sent her a big package of information including a picture of our coat of arms. I don't have a scanner, but if you send me your address, I'll be glad to mail you a copy. She also provides information linking the Crowder family to a Duke Godfrey of Bouillon (1060-1100), however I am still trying to determine the sources of this information. Personally, I have tried to research Hugh Crowder as much as possible, but I haven't really found anything to definitely connect him to England, other than leaving from London to come over to Virginia in 1619. I have found a Hugh Crowther born about 1562 in London, then married a Frances Gylmyn/Gilman in 1616 in London. I cannot say for sure that this is the same Hugh, though, and I haven't been able to take the line back beyond that. Let me know if you find out anything. Thanks!!
