Am searching for any information about my Grandmother's family. She was born Mary Mildred Crowder and married Hampton Robert Bates. They resided in Roanoke, VA. She would have been born sometime around the turn of this century (1900), and she died in the early 1970's.

They had the following children:

William (?) Died in infancy
Marcellus Gale
Doris
Laura Eleanor
Hampton Robert
James Crowder

I believe there are crosslinks to the name CAMPBELL on the Crowder side (possibly her mother's maiden name).

If anyone knows anything about the parents of Mary Mildred Crowder or Hampton Robert Bates, please let me know. I am just starting to search for them in earnest, but will share info as I receive it with anyone interested or related.
