Looking for information on Thern Earl Crowder b. July 12, 1863 d. Dec. 23, 1930. He was my grgrandfather. He lived in Montgomery Co, MS in 1900. He was hit by a train & killed in Sunflower Co, MS. Most of his family is buried in Poplar Creek Nations Cemetary in Montgomery Co, MS. He was married to Ida Ruth Lamb b. Nov 9,1866 d. Dec 24, 1937. They had the following children: Luther b. Dec 1885;Edna b. Feb 1894; Francis (Fannie) b. Feb 1897 and Eugene Wilson b. Feb 1900 (my grandfather);W.N. (possible William)b.1908 d. Dec 23, 1930. He was killed with his father. Family history has it that Thern Earl's (T.E.) mother died giving birth to him, his father remarried and had a son William F. b.July 12, 1865 d. July 14, 1950. There were possibly 2 stepbrothers brought into the home also. Thern couldn't live with his stepmother and brothers so he supposedly left home at the age of 13. I would appreciate any information on this family!!
