So far I have not been able to find much information about my g-grandfather George Ford Crowden. He was born about 1860 in England, and came here with his family in the early 1860's. His mother's name was Francis and a brother named Frank according to the 1900 census. In 1890 he was living at 10 Orange in Buffalo, NY with my g-grandmother Caroline Boller and her parents. He was listed as a carpenter. My grandfather George William was born Feb. 23, 1887. According to him, they seperated in 1897, and he went to Chicago to live with a cousin. In 1900 census, George F. was at 19 Hannah with his mother and brother. I was told he returned to England, but so far have not found him, or who his father was. Is any one familiar with this line? Elizabeth Crowden the widow of Samuel was also living with Francis and Frank in 1890, so I am sure they are related somehow.
