According to the "History of Bartow County, GA (Formerly Cass County)", by Lucy Josephine Cunyus:
"Crow Springs: in the 5th district, were first settled by WILLIAM CROW of South Carolina before the Civil War. A son, LINTON C. CROW and his family, lives at one of the springs. Best's Chapel and a Baptist Church are located near the other spring."(p. 179)
