Carol Crow 6/30/11
On 2 November, 1827, John Crow, and James Crow, "major heirs of Isaac Crow, and Margaret his wife," signed an affidavit in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, selling Hugh McGuffin their interests in "a certain tract of land situate and being on the Sabine River in the said Parish, on which is the Ferry known by the name of Crow's Ferry across the said River. . . ."
Assuming James Crow was abt. 18 in 1827 and died immediately after he signed the affidavit, that would place his birth about 1810.If Margret Crow was born in 1760, she would have been 50 in 1810.
