According the Porter Bible Records her full name was Salena Vinetta Crow and she was born Feb.10,1870. She was indeed the daughter of Sarah Elizabeth Porter and Calvin Crow. I think she got her name from her maternal grandmother. Sarah's parents were David Hall Porter and Salena Gay. Salena Vinetta Crow married John Thomas Crow on August 19,1888 in Habersham County. The parents of John Tomas Crow were John G. Crow and Mary Harkins. Some family members moved from Georgia to Texas. After Salena died John then married Georgia Miles. The parents of Georgia Miles were William Henry Miles and Mary Jane Crow. Mary Jane Crow was the sister of Calvin Crow. Georgia Miles was a sister to Margaret(Maggie) Miles who married William Stanhope Crow, a son of Calvin Crow. Georgia Miles Crow, Mary Jane Crow Miles, William Henry Miles, John Thomas Crow, William Stanhope Crow, and Margaret Miles Crow and all buried in Boggy Creek (Masonic) Cemetery in Travis County Texas. I am related to this line through my gggrandmother, Mary Matilda Porter a sister to Sarah Elizabeth Porter. Mary Matilda Porter married Andrew Jackson Wilbanks on December 23, 1847 in Habersham County Georgia. Their daughter Melissa ( my ggrandmother) married Jeptha Ellard on November 20, 1884 in Habersham County Georgia. Around 1900 Jeptha and Melissa moved to Texas.
