WHAT HAPPENED TO FARLEY, HENDERSON, HENRY CROW AFTER 1880 GREENE COUNTY, GEORGIA
What happened to any of the children of James Crow and Frances Mary Ann Allen who married in 1846 in Clarke County, Georgia?See census below. She was dau. of Philip Allen(Allin) Rev. Sol. and Sarah Robinson married c. 1817 Clarke County, Georgia. The parents of James Crow have been a mystery for over 40 years.Seeking any descendants, especially males with the Crow surname for possible DNA tests.
Amanda Crow married Toole 1875 Oconee County, Georgia, poster's line.Buried Magnolia Cem. Augusta, Georgia.Stephen married 1871 Greene County, Georgia, Rebecca Winnie Kinney.Buried West View Cemetery, Augusta, Georgia.Had one son who had two daughters. He went down with his ship in WWI.
One Henderson Crow married Hattie Hagergoode(sp.?) 1890 Clarke County, Georgia. No other record.
Have one old picture labeled Henry Crow.Shows young couple and young daughter c. 1915.No further information.
James Crow apparently worked in textile mills and factories and was not a farmer.Suspect his sons might have done the same type work.Suspect, but have no real proof, that the family might have been among those who were "dispersed" (community disappeared) after the Scull Shoals Factory town on the Oconee River flooded out c. 1887.
Any assistance appreciated.
