I'm stuck.
Mary Crouch was married to Joseph Sampson 8 October 1832 in Montgomery County Indiana. They had a son, Thomas Levi Sampson (b. 1835-d. 1905) in same county. I have found many folks with the Crouch name but I can find no definitive connection between Mary and the others at this location.
The 1900 Census gives the birthplace of Thomas' mother as France. Is there a French connection?
An affidavit for the Marriage License for Thos. Sampson and Susan Vice was filed by Johnathan Crouch in 1870. I am assuming Johnathan is a relative...
