My 3rd-gr grandfather was a brother of Richard Allen who 20 Jan 1819 in Floyd Co., KY, m. Edy Williams, dau of Daniel Williams and Violet CROUCH. There were Crouches in Bath Co., KY, about that time. Do you have Richard and Edy's children? I can give you these, if you don't have them. My 3rd-gr grandparents were Daniel Allen (d. 1826 in Morgan Co.) and Nancy Hughes who had two children: Betsy, 4 when he died, and my 2nd-gr: Daniel Williams Allen, 9 mo. when the children were apprenticed in Dec Court 1826 in Morgan Co.,, KY, to age 21 to Richard Allen, their father's brother. There are strong ties among the Crouchs, Allens, Pergrems, Hughes in Bath, Morgan, Montgomery, Clark. Perhaps we can work together on this. Please e-mail me.
