I think that Crouch in King and Queen Co., in Virginia a few counties East of Richmond, used to be a post office. I visited there when I was a kid in the 70s and I think the place was just a house and a general store. The man who owned and ran the store was named Crouch and if I remember right he had named the place himself. We knew his daughter fairly well for awhile because she had a similar store in Ino, near our farm.
