I read with great interest your information on George West!
My gr grandmother was Martha Jane Crouch married to Wm. H. West abt. 1874 (?). I have been trying to get info. on Martha Jane's parents. I know that my grandfather, Robert Crouch West was born in Centre, AL. Feb. 16, 1885 and married Maud May Roebuck June 30, 1907 in Etowah County, Alabama. I have info. on the Roebucks, some on the Wests' but none on the Crouches.
Since Martha Jane Crouch West was the daughter of George
Crouch, it is possible that George Crouch was my ggGrand-father. Please let me know if this is a correct assummptiomn. Very interesting but somewhat shocking.
