Charles D. Crouch was born, 3 Dec 1863, son of William and Caroline (Baker) Crouch.He was ten years of age when the family came to the US in 1873 and he was educated and grew to manhood in Salt Lake City, UT. He learned the bookbinders trade & earned his living as a bookbinder for 21 years in Utah and Montana.In 1898 he entered the ministry of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and in 1903 he graduated in the theological course at Wesleyan University at Helena, MT. In 1913, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Divinity by the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA.Rev. Crouch was pastor of churches in Butte, Great Falls, Missoula, and Helena, a trustee of the Great Falls Deaconess Hospital, Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, and Montana Deaconess School at Helena, and a trustee and chairman of the board of directors of the Montana Wesleyan College at Helena.
On 29 Nov 1882, Salt Lake City, UT, Charles married Miss Beulah A. Adams, daughter of Barnabas and Julia (Banker) Adams.Children of Charles and Beulah Crouch: Leslie B. and Clara Dean (Mrs. Ross G. Gallup).
